Welcome to the blog of the US Short Codes WHOIS directory on the web. Our intent is to post announcements, updates, and news regarding use of 5 digit common short codes in the US. We may occasionally talk about what's going on outside the US.

Although CTIA and Neustar can't post information about US common short codes because of confidentiality agreements, we haven't signed any. If we learn about something publicly, then we will post it. If you learn of something publicly, let us know and we will post it.
